1. The LED three-proof lamp bead adopts integrated LED, also known as COB


Commonly used LED tri-proof lamp beads are divided into SMD (single bead) and COB (integrated)


1. SMD (single bead)


Since SMD entered the market early, it has been widely recognized by users, but its defects cannot be ignored, mainly as follows:


(1) The light decay is large. It is mainly caused by the poor heat dissipation of the lamp beads and the aging of the plastic lens (Note: SMD generally can only use plastic lenses).


(2) The consistency of light color is poor. The LED tri-proof lamp composed of multiple lamp beads will have uneven light emission and chromatic aberration.


(3) Quality control is difficult and easy to break. The LED tri-proof lamp composed of multiple lamp beads has many solder joints, many subsequent processing procedures, many spare parts, and high probability of assembly errors. Therefore, its quality control is quite difficult.


2. COB (Integrated)


COB means "package on board", English is Chipon Board, abbreviated as COB. Since COB entered the market late, it is a high-tech new product, and users do not have enough awareness of COB, but the advantages of COB are significant.


(1) Light decay is small. Because the heat dissipation path of COB is shorter than that of SMD, the thermal resistance is smaller than that of SMD, the heat dissipation is good, and the optical glass mirror can be used for light distribution, so the light decay is very small.


(2) No color difference. COB emits light from the surface, the light is uniform, and there is no chromatic aberration.


(3) The quality control is simple and the quality is stable. COB has no solder joints, no patch, no reflow soldering, simple assembly process, very easy quality control, and almost zero failure rate.


(4) Small size, high power (up to 300 W or more), and easy light distribution.


(5) Compared with SMD, COB is a kind of technological progress.



2. The radiator is made of aluminum alloy solid sunflower radiator, and the nanometer heat dissipation coating is infiltrated on the surface to achieve the best heat dissipation effect.


The radiator is the core of the lamp, which determines the light efficiency, light decay and life.


1. The role of the radiator


The heat is effectively dissipated to ensure that it works at an ideal temperature.


High-quality heat dissipation can prolong life, improve light efficiency, and reduce light decay.


2. The basic heat dissipation principle of the radiator


The radiator uses three ways of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation to complete heat dissipation.


3. 5 standards for high-quality radiators


(1) High thermal conductivity (conduction principle). After research, it is found that the radiator made of materials with a thermal conductivity greater than 200w/m.k generally has a better heat dissipation effect.


(2) The radiator should be convection up and down (the principle of convection). Convective air quickly removes heat.


(3) The heat dissipation area per unit weight is large (radiation principle). After research, it is found that the radiator with the heat dissipation area per unit weight greater than 0.3 has small volume, light weight and good heat dissipation effect.


( 4 ) There is no intermediate conversion link (conduction principle). The heat of the chip is directly transferred to the surface of the heat sink for dissipation.


(5) The heat transfer path should be short (conduction principle). The heat transfer path is short and the heat loss is small. The research found that the heat transfer path is less than 70 mm, and the comprehensive cost performance is the best.


3. The light distribution device adopts optical glass lens


The light emitted by the LED tri-proof lamp bead is a circular cone, and its light spot is circular, while the light required for road lighting is a rectangular cone, and its light spot is rectangular, so the street lighting needs to distribute the LED light. The device is called optical distribution device



Generally, LED street lights made of SMD (ie, single) use plastic lenses (such as PC, acrylic, silica gel, etc.) for light distribution. Because the plastic lens will deteriorate and turn yellow, its light transmission effect will be deteriorated, and the time of this deterioration will be very short. Generally, it will have a more obvious look and feel in about a year, and it will become more serious with the passage of time. That is, LED street lights will produce increasingly serious light decay, and the lighting effect will deteriorate with the day.


In addition, the electrostatic adsorption phenomenon of the plastic lens is very serious, and a layer of dust will adhere to its surface, which is difficult to clean. These dusts will block the transmission of light, cause the LED street light to be damaged, and make the lighting effect worse, that is, the street lights will become more and more darker.


Therefore, the use of plastic lenses in LED street lamps is defective.


More scientific is the use of optical glass lenses.


Because the chemical properties of the optical glass lens are very stable, it will not deteriorate and yellow, and there is no static phenomenon. Therefore, the LED street light will not cause light decay and light loss due to the lens.


Fourth, the use of high-quality power


1. The role of the power supply


Drive the LED to ensure that the LED works under constant voltage and constant current.


High-quality power supply can improve the efficiency and service life of the whole lamp


2. Important parameters of the power supply


(1) Efficiency. The higher the efficiency, the more energy-efficient the power supply is, and should reach 0.90.


(2) Power factor. The higher the power factor, the smaller the reactive power loss and the more energy-saving the power supply, which should reach 0.99.


(3) Harmonics. The smaller the harmonic, the smaller the pollution to the power grid, which should be less than 7 percent .


 


5. Adopt the separation technology of power supply and LED light source
