Beth is�% a0MagFit  LED Universal Retrofit Kit (URK)?

The MagFit T8/T12 LED Universal Retrofit Kit (URK) installs directly into existing Linear and Troffer type fixtures, providing a cost effective means to transition into DesignLights Consortium, Premium listed, LED lighting without having to replace existing fixtures. After the removal of the fluorescent tubes and tombstones from the existing fixtures, the ballast is removed or simply bypassed. The unique design of the URK light bars are secured to the interior of the existing housing with the use of powerful magnets and mechanical screws. The number of light bars installed within each fixture depends on the amount of light desired by the customer. A power cable is plugged int the end of each MagFit, with the other end of the cable being connected directly to incoming power. If the double-ended Magfits are being installed, the power cable is plugged into the end of the first MagFit in each run. Jumper cables are used to provide end-to-end power to the remaining MagFits in the run (up to 300W per run)

Remove old tubes and tombstones from the fixture. Remove or bypass the ballast. Wire incoming power to the provided power cable; plug the cable into the MagFit(s). Snap the provided magnetic brackets onto the MagFit tube. Position the MagFit tube into the fixture; the magnets hold it in place. Secure the provided screws through the magnetic brackets for additonal security. If a daisychain configuration is desired, use a straight slot screwdriver to pry out the plug(s) in the endcap(s). Use jumper cables to connect power from one MagFit to the next. Up to 300W can be powered within a single chain. See eiko.com for complete installation instructions.
